Psychotherapy
Your journey into wellness.
My therapy approach is rooted in attachment theory and incorporates psychoeducation, specialized experiential techniques, and traditional talk therapy to help people navigate change. I am located in Edwards, Colorado, and licensed in Colorado and Florida for telehealth.

My area of specialty is traumatic stress, attachment injury and/or unresolved family of origin issues that could be contributing to lifelong patterns that are unhelpful. These patterns could come out in romantic relationships, friendships, career dynamics, or all of these. Finding the “root issues” are only one step. Working with these uncovered contributing factors is where lasting change is possible.

Our significant partners are our next prominent attachment figures after our caregiving system. Romantic relationships are primed for playing out the needs-meeting strategies that were used in childhood. Using an attachment-informed model, couples can improve communication and be able to identify and talk about needs in the relationship. This method will also help identify needs that are not appropriate to be met by a romantic partner. By increasing insight and developing better communication skills, relationships can be more harmonious, more intimate and feel safer.

The re-emerging inclusion of psychedelic compounds into mental health has been rapid over the last few years. Decades of research and outcomes have been delivered to the psychotherapeutic, psychological, and psychiatric community for consideration.
For now, the only psychedelic compound that is legally used for mental health conditions is Ketamine. In Colorado, licenses and regulations for psilocybin assisted therapy are being developed and completion is anticipated in December with licenses being issued early next year. I will keep this section updated.
I am a member of Journey Clinical which provides wrap around services for people seeking ketamine assisted psychotherapy. I am also partnered with practitioners in the Vail Valley to provide KAP locally.
Currently, trained psychedelic assisted therapists (CPAT) are allowed to support personal psychedelic exploration with preparation and integration therapy sessions.

Intensives and retreats can offer a get-away to focus exclusively on your healing journey.
