Programs

“It’s the client who knows what hurts, what direction to go, what problems are crucial, what experiences have been deeply buried.” - Carl Rogers

I love program development because it combines creativity and research, two of my favorite things. There is a delicate balance between structure and freedom in developing good programming. If we are outside of that window, programs can feel poorly defined without enough material to sustain the focus. On the other hand, programming that is too rigid stifles the team and lowers morale. Effective program development can help narrow the gap between research and practice by incorporating the most up-to-date practices into the content and materials, elevating clinical sophistication. Every facility has unique elements that make it stand out from the rest. Tailored programming can highlight these elements, creating a cohesive and distinctive narrative.

Following a phase system that builds upon itself, while also being accessible to clients who join at any time, program components can include specific groups, psychoeducation for clients, workbooks, built-in intensives, specialty sessions, experiential components, and off-campus excursions, among other components tailored to the company's particular needs. Programs that I have direct experience with are substance use disorders, traumatic stress, veterans, ketamine assisted psychotherapy, professionals, executives, and LGBTQIA+. I’m happy to discuss the inspiration and vision behind your program and collaborate on developing it to its fullest potential.
